The £5 grant will have been paid before Christmas to children from three school areas in the Erris Gaeltacht district.
It is regretted that it will not be possible to pay the grant in respect of the other school areas before Christmas but payment will be made in all cases as soon as the necessary investigation has been completed by the inspector.
