asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the period in which the price of feeding stuffs will show (i) a reduction as a result of the purchase of Irish feeding barley at 36/-to 40/- per barrel, and (ii) an increase as a result of the purchase of foreign feeding barley at £27 10s. to £30 per ton.

My information is that a price of 40/- a barrel and upwards was paid for green Irish feeding barley which had a normal moisture content related to conditions obtaining this year. There is no official control over the price of compound feeding stuffs which must be related to the cost of the ingredients.
