I am satisfied that reasonable facilities are already available in Cork City and suburbs for the purchase of stamps at post offices and from shopkeepers licensed to sell stamps. The provision of stamp-vending machines at the 31 suboffices covered by the Deputy's question would not, therefore, be warranted and would be uneconomic.
