My attention has been drawn to the article to which the Deputy refers. There is no warrant for this scurrilous attack on prison officials and prison administration and, of course, there is no truth whatsoever in the allegations made. On the contrary, I am satisfied that all prisoners are provided with adequate quantities of good and wholesome food and that prison officials treat them at all times with humanity and consideration.
