Is the Minister aware there are some outstanding payments in respect of land acquired?
No. All the lands of which possession has been taken have been paid for, but perhaps the Deputy is thinking of certain other negoiations that are in progress and which have not yet been completed.
I would like to know from the Minister if he is aware that some of the tenants have not received any payment yet?
For this?
Yes. I have a letter in my possession from his Department, which I received to-day, in relation to that matter.
Is it in connection with some of the estates I mentioned?
Yes.
I shall look into that. I should be surprised if it were true.
