Outline proposals for the provision of a water supply scheme for Carrigans were approved in principle some years ago. Detailed documents for the scheme have not been submitted by the sanitary authority pending clarification of questions relating to the acquisition of lands and rights.
I am not, therefore, in a position to indicate when final proposals for a scheme will be approved or when work will commence.
