I do not propose in the implementation of certain provisions of the Health Act, 1953, to make any fundamental alterations affecting voluntary nursing associations. I am, however, at present investigating, in consultation with the various interests concerned, ways and means of overcoming the financial difficulties with which many of these associations are faced.
