Imports of cheese amounted to 6,354 cwt. in the year 1954; 5,546 cwt. in the year 1955; and 1,214 cwt. in the nine months from January to September, 1956. The value (c.i.f.) of these imports was £78,550 in the year 1954; £60,641 in the year 1955; and £20,122 in the nine months from January to September, 1956.
