Vol. 160 No. 10

Order of Business.

Business, as set out on the Order Paper, will be taken as follows: Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. It is proposed to interrupt business at 1.30 p.m. to take Nos. 4 and 5, if not already reached. No. 2 is to be resumed immediately after questions, which will be taken at 3 o'clock, and, when No. 2 is completed, the order will be resumed.

May I ask the Taoiseach if, in the event of the business provided for to-day finishing before 5 o'clock, he will agree to the resumption of Private Members' business for the rest of the time to-day?

Yes—we will let the Deputy know.

Every Party will have to consider that question.

Very good.

That would be a matter to be discussed by the Whips. We want to give notice to people who are interested in the Private Members' motions that we will have them.

It is highly unlikely that we shall finish business to-day——

Deputy MacEntee will make sure we do not.

Leave Deputy MacEntee alone. It would be all the better for you if you did.

Barnum is absent this morning.
