Two additional kiosks in the Waterford City area were included in the telephone kiosk programme for the current financial year.
These have been provided. When the kiosk programme for the coming year is being prepared the further claims of Waterford City will be considered in conjuction with those of other towns and should it prove possible to make provision for additional kiosks in Waterford the claim of the St. John's Park area will receive careful consideration.
Is the Minister aware that there are nearly 600 new houses in St. John's Park and there is no telephone kiosk?
I am so aware, but as I mentioned in the reply, two additional kiosks were provided this year and when the telephone kiosk programme for the coming year is being prepared St. John's Park will be included for consideration.
