asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that in June last Mayo County Council applied to his Department for £40,000 to finance loans under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts, that applications exceeding £36,000 in the aggregate are pending with the council, and that his Department have given no indication as to whether the council's application will be sanctioned or otherwise; and, if so, if he will make a statement on the matter.
