asked the Minister for Agriculture if the action of the Government in disposing as animal feeding stuffs, at a loss of £150,000, of 15,000 tons of wheat, bought at the subsidised price for flour milling, may be regarded as precedent for the disposal of future wheat surpluses.

The answer is "no". say, however, that I am at present looking into the problem of handling surpluses which may arise in the future.
