asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the reason for the dismissal of thirty-seven workers employed at forestry work at Emo forest centre; if he is aware that most of the workers now unemployed are married men with families who can find no alternative employment locally; and if, since there appears to be no shortage of either forestry or development work, and no justification for reducing the staff by over fifty per cent. he will arrange for discussions with the men's trade union representatives immediately with a view to the re-employment of the men without delay.
