Committee on Finance. - Maritime Jurisdiction Bill, 1959—Money Resolution.

I move:—

"That it is expedient to authorise such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present session to make provision in respect of the territorial seas and the exclusive fishery limits of the State, and to provide for the conservation of the living resources of the sea and for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid."

What expense is contemplated in the implementation of this Bill?

Minister for External Affairs (Mr. Aiken)

It will be very small, simply the preparation of the Order and the preparation and publication of charts. It will be very small.
