The Deputy's question appears to be based on a misunderstanding. The statement to which the question refers does not speak of the stained glass window by Miss Evie Hone entitled "My Four Green Fields" but of a panel bearing the same title, which was, I understand, a scale study for the window.
The Deputy was informed, in reply to a question put by him on 26th November, 1958, that the stained glass window was the property of the Commissioners of Public Works. There has been no change in that position.
