In the financial year 1958/59, a grant of £1,143 16s. 8d. was paid by my Department to Gael-Linn towards the cost of producing short films in Irish.
A grant not to exceed £3,250 has been voted for the same purpose in the current financial year. No payment out of this year's grant has yet been made.
Will the Minister agree that the work being done by Gael-Linn in this respect is of the utmost importance nationally and a tremendous advantage to the national language generally?
