The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands which, I understand, have recently been sold in separate sections. During the past six years, the Land Commission have acquired and distributed upwards of 400 acres formerly held by this family.
I take it from the Minister's reply that the Land Commision do not propose to take any further steps towards the acquisition of additional land on this estate?
My information is that all this land has been sold to different purchasers, some of whom are regarded as satisfactory by the Land Commissioners. That is the information given to me.
