Two Sub-Postmasters, a Sub-Postmistress and two Sub-Post Office Assistants were prosecuted for fraud, theft and forgery during the year ended 31st January, 1960—the total amount involved in the charges brought against the offenders being £9,038.
One prosecution of a Sub-Postmaster is pending; the amount involved in that case is £587.
