Vol. 185 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dredging of Greencastle (Donegal) Harbour.

14.

asked the Minister for Finance the cause of the delay in dredging the harbour at Greencastle, County Donegal.

The first part of the work at Greencastle will be extensive buttressing and underpinning of the pier which is necessary before the actual dredging can be undertaken. The sheet steel piling and timber required are being purchased and the necessary plant is being prepared. It is expected that actual work on the site will be begun in the next week or two.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary say what these works will cost?

That is a separate question.

That is something we are never told.

The Deputy should ask the question.

The Deputy will ask the question.

You will not spend any money where they are catching the fish.
