asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state in respect of each contract advertised for tender by Radio Éireann in the past year (a) the date of publication of the notice inviting tenders, (b) the closing date for the receipt of tenders and (c) the name of the successful contractor.

These questions relate to matters which lie within the competence of the Broadcasting Authority. I so informed the Deputy in my reply to an analogous question raised by him in November last. Accordingly, his inquiries should properly be made directly to Radio Éireann.
