asked the Minister for Local Government the number of (a) persons and (b) electors who are at present resident in (1) County Meath and (2) County Westmeath who will be transferred to County Kildare for the purpose of the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1961.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Transfer of Electors.
A population of 6,545 including an estimated 3,718 electors will be transferred from County Meath and a population of 7,106 including an estimated 4,155 electors from County Westmeath, to the proposed county constituency of Kildare. The figures for population are based on the Census of 1958 and those for electors are based on the 1960/61 Register of Electors.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state with reference to the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1961 (a) the population and (b) the estimated electorate of (1) that portion of the Ballyfermot ward included in County Dublin, (2) that portion of the Ballyfermot ward included in Dublin South West, (3) the Rathmines West ward, (4) the Rathfarnham ward, (5) the Rathfarnham South ward and (6) that area formerly in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown now proposed to be transferred to County Dublin.
