Export credit insurance, in respect of political risks, is available to exporters of Irish goods under agreements concluded in 1955 and 1957 between the Minister for Industry and Commerce and a group of Irish insurance companies under the Insurance Act, 1953.
Commercial risk insurance is available in the ordinary way from the commercial insurance companies.
