This will, of course, depend on supply and demand. There has been an increase in British home production of turkeys this year but, as it is not practicable to form a reliable estimate of the probable level of consumer demand, it would be very difficult to give a price forecast.
As in other years, particulars of the supplies and prices of turkeys at British and Irish markets will be published in daily bulletins issued by my Department through the press and radio during the turkey marketing season.
