Vol. 192 No. 6

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 7, 8, 3, 9 and 4 as on the Order Paper. Private Members' Business will be taken at 9 o'clock.

May I enquire of the Taoiseach when I shall be permitted to move the First Stage of the Ground Rents (Prohibition and Extinction) Bill, 1961? It is the first item appearing on the Order Paper.

If the Deputy would indicate the day he wants it ordered, I shall order it for that day.

To-morrow.

Very good.

Would the Taoiseach say whether the Government proposes to allocate further Government time this week and next week to finish the motion dealing with health services?

I should like to see that motion completed before the Christmas adjournment and perhaps the Whips of the Parties might get together today to see what can be arranged. It will be possible to tell them precisely what the Government business which it is contemplated should be finished in this session.

I take it we shall sit next week?

That is one of the matters the Whips might get together to discuss.

But next week is available for time?

Is it not intended to complete the Coroners Bill before the Christmas recess?
