Vol. 192 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Sea Wall: Prevention of Flooding.

6.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that part of the sea wall protecting the holding at Lohercannon and Kerries West, Tralee, County Kerry was washed away by the high tide some weeks ago; and that as a result acres of land are subject to severe flooding; and, if so, if he will now consider having some repair works carried out to prevent the flooding.

The Land Commission are at present repairing the damage to the sea wall at Kerries West. Further similar damage elsewhere in the district is under investigation.
