44.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Montgomery Estate at Kilmer, Hill of Down, County Meath; and, if so, when the lands will be divided.

45.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Duke of Stackpool Estate at Tubbertynan, Enfield, Couny Meath; and, if so, when the lands will be divided.

46.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Weily Estate at Cullentra, Enfield, County Meath; and, if so, when the lands will be divided.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 44, 45 and 46 together.

These three properties, aggregating 1,339 acres, were taken over by the Land Commission only last month. It is still too soon to indicate when allotment will be feasible.

47.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Gasteen Estate at Clonard, Kinnegad, County Meath; and, if so, when the lands will be divided.

The Land Commission resumed and allotted 102 acres of this property some years ago. They have not acquired the balance of the holding.

48.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired the Murray Estate at Tanderagee, Enfield, County Meath; and, if so, when the lands will be divided.

This estate, comprising 162 acres, was taken over by the Land Commission last year. It is hoped to include these lands in a comprehensive scheme incorporating other estates recently acquired in this district. There will be no avoidable delay.

49.

asked the Minister for Lands when each of the estates already acquired by the Land Commission at Milltownpass, Rochfortbridge and Gaybrook, County Westmeath will be divided.

It is expected that the Wedell-Wedellsborg and Levinge estates will be substantially allotted this spring, but it is unlikely that allotments on the remaining estates will be feasible before next year.
