The following table gives rough estimates of the distribution of the wages paid in 1960 to agricultural workers in the different counties. This allocation is based on the returns of the numbers of males engaged in farm work (excluding members of families) obtained at the June 1960 Agricultural Enumeration. In view of the assumption which must be made in such an exercise these figures cannot be considered as more than rough approximations.
