asked the Minister for Finance the number of buildings for various Government Departments and agencies built in the last ten years which have contained, as an integral part of the building or as a part of the decoration of the building, a work of art by a living Irish artist; and if he will state in each case whether such a work was specially commissioned for the building, or purchased after the completion of the building.

The following State buildings, which have been erected within the last ten years, contain works of art by living Irish artists as an integral part of the structure or as part of the decoration:—

Curragh Camp Catholic Church,

Irish Pavilion, Frankfurt,

Waterford Employment Exchange.

In each case the work was specially commissioned for the building.
