The information sought by the Deputy is not available in my Department and I understand that it would be difficult to compile accurate statistics in the form sought.
Is the Minister aware that there is a policy of discharging patients suffering from incurable cancer? Will he alter that policy for Christian and human reasons?
I hope that is not a figment of the Deputy's imagination. Making an allegation like that is a serious matter, and the Deputy should make it outside and not under the privilege of the House.
