The information in the precise form requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department and its compilation would involve a considerable amount of work by the authorities of district and private mental hospitals.
I have, however, set out in a tabular statement, which with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I will circulate with the Official Report, details of the statistics available. If these do not meet with the Deputy's requirements, I will be glad if he will communicate with me.
