asked the Minister for Health when the Meath County Council will pay his allowance under the Infectious Diseases Act to an applicant (name supplied).
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Infectious Diseases Allowance.
8.
I understand from the health authority that it has been decided to pay a maintenance allowance in pursuance of Section 44 of the Health Act, 1947, in respect of the eleven days involved and that payment is being made to-day.
When was it paid to the person concerned?
It is being paid today.
Since the Deputy put the question down.
No. Well, perhaps; certainly when anything is called to this Minister's attention it receives attention.

Any Fianna Fáil question produces results; any other question does not.
I do not think that any one of the Deputy's colleagues on the opposite side of the House would agree with that statement.
I do not think the Minister's comment does him any credit.
