The post of Director of Stamping in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners became vacant on 27th October, 1961. The appointment of a successor has been deferred pending the results of a review of the organisation of the Stamping Branch in the light of present condition, and of future requirement so far as they can be foreseen. A team of organisation and methods officers is at present engaged in this task and their report is expected shortly. An appointment will be made as soon as possible after the completion of the review.
