It is expected that the new Abbey Theatre will be completed in two years' time; as I have told the Deputy in reply to three previous questions, the owners of the new theatre will be the National Theatre Society Ltd.
It was never made clear until now that we have given a present of £250,000 to three men.
It was made clear on 11th April, 1961, 22nd November, 1961 and 21st February, 1962.
I asked the Minister then was he going to seek any representation on the Board of the Abbey Theatre.
And I said the representation we have at the moment.
We have representation at the moment?
Yes, one.
I consider we should have more representation and so do many people.
