Private Members' Business. - Companies Bill, 1962—Referred to Special Committee: Motion.

Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. J. Lynch)

I move :—

That the Companies Bill, 1962, be referred to a Special Committee consisting of 15 members to be nominated by the Committee of Selection;

That the quorum of the Committee be five; and

That the first meeting of the Committee be held on 12th December, 1962.

Will the Minister circulate the amendments as soon as he can?

It might be more feasible perhaps if we took the Bill in Committee by parts and any amendments circulated in advance might be related to the parts of the Bill as we deal with them.
