A State grant has been sanctioned for the construction of a slipway, boatyard, and approach road at Ballinacarta, Dunaff. The Commissioners of Public Works are awaiting notification from the Donegal County Council of the acquisition by them of the site of the boatyard, and of a right of way thereto. Arrangements will be made for commencement of the works as soon as this notification is received.
