asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the slob company which was responsible for the Burnfoot River cleaned it every three years; and that since it became the responsibility of the Office of Public Works the river has never been cleaned; and if, in view of the great dissatisfaction in the district among the affected farmers, he will take steps to have this river cleaned to alleviate flooding.
