I have, in conjunction with Bord Fáilte, been pressing the British authorities vigorously over a long period to provide a car ferry service between Dún Laoghaire and Holyhead. I have every expectation that a decision and, I hope, a favourable one, will shortly be reached but I cannot yet say when.
