Under the provisions of the Treaty of Rome, a common transport policy is to be worked out and adopted by the EEC. Such a policy has not yet been worked out. Until this has been done and the policy adopted, it is not possible to say what effect membership by this country of the EEC would be likely to have on this country's transport system.
