Vol. 201 No. 4

Order of Business.

Business, as set out on the Order Paper, will be taken as follows: Nos. 7, 8, 9, 10, 4 and 11 and then No. 5—Votes 45 and 46.

Why the delay in taking No. 13?

It has not been circulated yet.

Why the delay in circulating it?

I should hope it will be circulated by next week.

And No. 15? The two of them go together.

What is it proposed to take to-morrow?

Apart from the Bills which I have indicated to-day, the intention is to occupy the rest of this session before Easter with Estimates.

Will they be taken in the order in which they are on the Order Paper?

Yes; Defence first and External Affairs after it.

If we exhaust External Affairs to-morrow, we follow on?

We go on to Posts and Telegraphs.

And straight on to the others next week in this order?

One does not like to arrange too far ahead but that is the intention.

I do not know that the Government ever see far ahead.

We do not like making promises which we do not intend to fulfil.

Defence and Army Pensions will be taken together?
