The total loss incurred by Irish Shipping Ltd. over the period 1st July, 1954 to 31st March, 1962 was £944,808. In the year ended 30th June, 1955, and the 10 months ended 30th April, 1956, the company earned a profit of £130,567 and £362,576, respectively.
