Vol. 202 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Bill.

63.

Mr. Donnellan

asked the Minister for Lands when he proposes to introduce the new Land Bill.

It is hoped to introduce the Bill in this session.

Mr. Donnellan

I hope the Minister will do so at once. In view of the statements he has made throughout the country, plus the statements the Taoiseach has made, every man is now looking for the bit of land his neighbour has.

It will be introduced as soon as possible and the Deputy had better pay good attention to it because it will be the last Dáil he will be privileged to sit on as a result of his inaction in this matter over the years.

Mr. Donnellan

Faith, I will be here when the Minister will not. I can assure him of that. It is not from the descendants of the ranchers that I come.
