asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that a number of market gardeners and smallholders wish to be considered for portions of the Kennedy Estate at The Ward, Kilcoscan, County Dublin ; and that they would prefer allocations not exceeding 22 acres for market gardening purposes instead of larger holdings ; and if the Land Commission will reserve this estate for local applicants.

This 279 acre estate came into the possession of the Land Commission under a temporary letting agreement as recently as last month. The claims of all applicants will be fully investigated before a scheme of division is prepared. I shall have the Deputy's representations brought to the notice of the Land Commission.
