asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give full details of this year's allocations to local authorities in respect of roads, indicating increases or decreases where appropriate.

The information requested in regard to the 1963-64 Road Fund Grant allocations, and the increase or decrease in each case as compared with the 1962-63 figure, is shown in a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.

*The Main Road Upkeep Grant allocation shown for 1963-64 is an estimate. The grant consists of 50% recoupment of the approved expenditure by road authorities on main road upkeep works.
