The average c.i.f. price paid for coarse grains imported in the period 1st September, 1962, to 31st August, 1963, was £1 1s. 3d. per cwt. Imports consisted mainly of maize costing £1 1s. 3d. per cwt but also included a relatively small quantity of oats valued at £1 2s. 8d. per cwt and a very small amount of barley at 19/8 per cwt.
