A salary claim lodged on behalf of State foresters on 1st January, 1964, is at present receiving attention in the Department. Claims such as this are proper to be dealt with under the Scheme of Conciliation and Arbitration for the Civil Service and the foresters' claim will be dealt with in early course under that machinery.
