Such check estimations are not being carried out by my Department at present but a detailed examination of the question of introducing controls on the use of antibiotics in animal husbandry is being made. In the meantime the attention of milk producers has been directed to the desirability of not selling milk for at least three days after cows have been treated with antibiotics.
