Vol. 215 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dundalk School.

76.

asked the Minister for Education when the new school to replace Knockbridge boys national school, near Dundalk, will be built.

The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to furnish a report as to the suitability of the site offered by the reverend manager for a new national school at Knockbridge.

I am unable to say at present when building work will commence.

If the site should prove suitable, can the Minister give any approximate date?

It would be very difficult at this stage.

How long?

Sketch plans have to be prepared, estimates prepared and approved.

Five years?

I doubt if it will take five years.
