asked the Minister for Finance whether electricity supply lines for power in addition to lighting purposes were installed in married quarters built in any barracks within the past ten years; if so, where; whether such lines were installed during the past ten years in married quarters built prior to 1955; and, if so, where.
All married quarters for other Ranks built within the past ten years have been provided with a plug in each room in addition to the usual lighting points. The locations of the married quarters in question were given in my reply to a Question by the Deputy on the 11th instant.
Plugs have not been provided generally in married quarters erected prior to 1955. Any plugs provided during the past ten years in such quarters were installed at the expense of the occupants.
