60,345 persons visited Bunratty Castle in the year ended 31st December, 1964, of whom 21,314 participated in the Mediaeval Banquet; it is not known how many were Americans. It is estimated, however, that of the 9,006 persons who participated in the Mediaeval Tour including Banquet about 95 per cent were Americans.
