In the period mentioned the number of applications for planning permission received by Galway Corporation was 289. The number of applications decided was 260, of which 48 were refused. Valid appeals were received by me in 20 of these cases; of these appeals two were granted, two were refused and 16 are at present under consideration. The information sought about resubmitted applications is not available in my Department.

In the period mentioned the number of applications for planning permission received by Galway County Council was 793. The number of applications decided was 770, of which 87 were refused. Valid appeals were received by me in 52 of these cases; of these appeals three were withdrawn, six were granted, three were refused and 40 are at present under consideration. The information sought about resubmitted applications is not available in my Department.
